oh oh oh my god!! today a very exciting and shocking thing happened to pufang and i today. if i'm not wrong, pufang is also posting about this thing on her blog.
we were deciding in school and while walking home if we should eat at delifrance(donno how to spell) or not as we were tempting to eat the fruti tart that is over there. it's very very delicious and pufang wanted to try it.
then while heading for it, we decided that maybe we should eat famous amos too. but we went to delifrance and take a look at the fruit tart. and then we saw the cheese potato thing and it's like we recalled about the time when nerine, pufang and i were wanting to share that but didnt in the end. so we asked for the price and was told that it was 5 dollars.
then the fruit tart was like 2.65 and we were in dilemma if we should buy or not. then suddenly this aunty came to us and asked us if we want to buy. and she was like:" you want to eat is it?i treat you la!!!" then she started asking about what's inside and we told her cheese and potato and she went " eeeeee yerrrrrrr". SUDDENLY SHE SAID :" girl, come i treat you la since you want to eat. never mind, it's ok." then pufang and i got shock and we started saying things like never mind, it's ok, we need to go home and eat and stuffs. but still she said she'l treat us. and we were like shameful and she told us that it's ok and that we can treat her next time too.
i stared at pufang when she said that and asked her to brainstorm for ideas to make her say no. then the aunty(old lady btw) ordered the cheese potato thing and we started babbling out all the things that we could make her change her mind.
but unfortunately we couldnt so we decided to pay her the money and pufang took out her wallet. the old lady saw and she started saying to us, in a fierce and a little harsh voice :" you better not pay me. it's ok. if you pay me, i'm going to scold you all in front of all these people. you know right, there're so many people here....".
then we were afraid as she really said it like a command that kind. so we didnt dare to say back. then we were thinking what to do and wanted to stuck some money into her pocket or something. but couldnt.
then she turned around and said :" DO YOU WANT SOME DRINKS?". she said she'l help us buy. luckily pufang was holding her bottle and took it out to say that she had water and we'l just drink water. that will do. then she nodded her head and said.. ohhhhh.. then she asked us again, you want or not? if you want, then i'l buy for you la...
we shook our heads profusely and turned to each other. we were thinking of ways to repay her back. and then she passed us the number thing and asked us to wait at the delifrance table. she said something like it's more " you ya" or like more " wen rou" or "si wen". anw it means something like elegant that kind of thing.
so we sat there waiting and we saw her looking around to look for something to eat. then once she disappeared and pufang went to peek and saw that she's stil looking for food.
we were thinking if she will come over and take a seat with us.. when......... ... .... .... two drinks came.... and guess who it's for.. pufang and i... and guess who it came from.....

and we were like shit.. why she gave it to us again. we were denying and she already agreed not to give us any drinks. and now she paid for it again....
after a while, pufang went to peek again and the old lady went already.. at that time, the food came.
we started eating ravenously part of the reason may be because we were hungry. .it's like damn nice. there's a kind of spice that was sprinkled on the top. and when you eat it, it's like so damn crispy. and then there's the potato and right at the bottom is the cheese. and then it's like damn delicious when you feel it melting in your mouth and tasting the creamy taste of it!!!!!!! it's so damn nice!!!!!(notice the emphasise of the word damn, and the repititioin of the word damn, this shows that the food is really delicious and luscious) hehe.. that's so lit.. ah!!!!! and also, i happened to be rather shock and i havent recovered from my shock. so it's like when i taste the drink, i asked pufang what it tastes like, mango? then after that, she answered me :" isn't it orange? isn't it obvious????"... and i tasted again and i realised i was wrong. then when eating half way, i was like where's the cheese, i cant taste it.. and pufang said.. how come you cant taste the cheese? it's lke so obvious.. ahhahahhahahahahah
i guess i was too shock about it that i cant even taste the cheese and orang juice properly.
we decided to find out the price of the drink and we suspected and expected it to be very expensive. i guess i cant take too sour things, so i poured some to pufang when she finished drinking. although she cant finish the ddrink anymore, she helped me. and again, she drank faster than me. i pour into her drink again after seeing her finishing her drink. then again, she drank. haha. then finally i've finished.
so after we've finished. we went to check. and guess wad's the price of an orange juice???
it's... damn expensive....
it.... .... ... 3.70(which is like the second most expensive drink)
we were like.. omg. she like spent a total of 12.40 just on us. and can you believe it, we dont even knew her. and also, there were many other ij girls quening up to buy food too, and yet, she picked us, and helped us. omg. this is like so shockingg. and we planned to eat the tart or the cookies at first, yet we ended up eating the cheese potato thing, and the orange juice.
from that on, we felt so guilty like as if we're cheating an old lady's money. we were filled with guilt . we had to glance around everywhere to make sure that she isn't there and so that we wont see her again and at lost of words....
so scary..
and guess wad, i saw the same old lady that i've survey on friday with cheryl, denise and si ting. the lady that told us a story of herself for about 5 mins. and when we finally managed to ask her one question, her bus came and she just left. also, reminding us to cross the road with care.
this is stupid . one day, meeting so many weird old pple. but they're both very nice and sweet. very caring too.
hmmm.... pufang and i concluded that when we go out with each other, something exciting or interesting will happen on us. and this incident that happened today further proves my point.. heheh...
